Frequently Asked Questions

How does ordering work?

We are a small-batch cottage bakery that prides itself on serving you the freshest cookies possible. If you see a flavor out of stock, check back the next day as we replenish our inventory each night.

1) When you place an order, it will typically be ready the next business day Ordering cutoff is 2AM, meaning if you place an order by 2AM the night before, you can pick up your cookies the following morning starting at 11AM. You will receive a text message or email directly from us confirming your details.

2) Your order will be ready no later than 11AM on the day of pickup. Pickup hours are typically between 11AM and 7PM.

3) Local delivery is an option at checkout for an added fee, based on your zip code. We serve much of south King County and parts of Pierce County. Orders are typically delivered between 11AM and 3PM but this may vary.

When will you have ____ flavor?

We will have rotational flavors and will update our website each month with new ones. We will announce new releases via email, so be sure to subscribe to our mailing list!

How long do your cookies last?

Cookies are baked fresh daily and are best eaten on the same day. If kept sealed, they can stay good up to 5-7 days. Freezing them will prolong shelf life up to a month. To defrost, leave them out at room temperature up to an hour, or microwave in 7-10 second intervals. We don't recommend refrigerating cookies, as they'll dry out faster!

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver in and around the Federal Way / Auburn area in south King County and parts of Pierce County, WA. This includes Federal Way, Auburn, Maple Valley, Kent, Bonney Lake, Buckley, Lake Tapps, Puyallup, Sumner, NE Tacoma, South and SE Tacoma.

It is set based on your zip code. Delivery fee is a flat $8-$10 with a $20 minimum order. If you live in the above areas and it isn't allowing you to choose delivery, send us a note at david@umaidesserts.com!

If you don't fall within that area for delivery, you are always able to pick up at our location.

Do you ship cookies?

This is in the works. We will keep you updated.

Do you offer vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, or other special dietary options?

Sorry, we do not.

Do your products contain dairy or eggs?

Yes. All of our baked goods contain eggs and butter.

Other allergen info: baked goods can contain small traces of nuts or soy. We are not a nut-free bakery.

Can I place a custom order or book you for an event?
